No Shower Yet?

I'm embarrassed to say that it is 1:30 p.m. on Friday and I am still in my pajamas. I just put lunch (broccoli cheese soup) on the table and everyone is eating. I'm on my way to the shower and to get presentable for the rest of the day. I hope to be able to tell you in detail my day so far, but for now, I have to get my shower before the group finishes their lunch and are ready for the next event.

Last Christmas when Tami and family were at my house, we were in our jammies the entire day. Isn't it great to be able to lounge and relax?

I imagine getting shower time is difficult with 20 in your house too.

I'm off to the big inventory sale at the yarn shop before going home. We all got out early for the long weekend.

Sounds like fun, mom!
Hope the rest of the time is just as eventful!
P.S. Keep blogging, so I know what's going on!

I should have just stayed in my jammies, they are a lot more comfortable, and seeing as I haven't left the house since I got here it would have been just fine.
At least I got a shower before noon, although it was a bit cold. There doesn't seem to be enough hot water to go around.

Well, even though I could have stayed the night, I'm not going to miss the morning rush trying to get 20 people out the door by 9:00am with church clothes on. Too bad we don't live just a bit closer.

I know what you'll be doing all day - laundry. As everyone heads home, you and Bob will be washing all the bed sheets and towels.

From the blogs, it sounds like you all had a good visit (and food).

I am going to start overhauling and cleaning today for my daughter and granddaughters' visit this Wed. They'll be here for a week before flying back to Moscow. The only downside is that my allergies kicked in and my sinuses are fighting. Hopefully it won't turn into an infection.

Hope you'll blog about the activities from last week.

How much fun! I just found your blog from Rachael's blog. What a big family... and a precious, new little one. I am an only child, so I really appreciate large families.

With so much family around, I don't blame you for having some quiet time to blog.

Tina, you're right. I'm doing lots of laundry right now. I also just found out that there is going to be a church meeting at our house this evening. I guess I can't put off getting everything back in place. Hope your allergies get better soon. I know you must be excited about your family coming to visit. Did you find anything good at the yarn sale? Sounds like fun. I have just started to knit, and I'm having a terrible time knitting socks. I bought the yarn last January when we visited Germany and I'm determined to make me a pair of socks with this yarn. I just don't know what year I will complete them.
