Thursday afternoon update
Mom ate a little lemon pudding and drank some milk for lunch today. She has been sleeping most of the day except when we try to talk to her and bother her. She immediately falls back asleep. They are taking her now to get the CT scan. We had a good lunch that a couple from the church brought up to us. Francie (my cousin) is here. She took care of mom while I ran to her house to shower and change clothes.

The next best thing to being in such a large and close-knit family is having a church family. I am so glad Rachael called Grandma Annie's church and that they are willing to provide things like lunch for you.
Glad to hear Grandma is still doing okay. I hope the test comes back with positive news.
I hear Nat and Francie are on their way. I sure wish I could be there too. I want to jump in the car and leave right now but I don't dare take my car further then necessary. (If by chance you will be needing yours... I will personally deliver.)
Please tell Grandma how much I love her and that I would be there if I could.
Maybe we can convince her to come for a visit when she is stable enough to make the trip, to avoid the rehab. We could always give her the option of rehab aka:nursing home or a visit to NY. She wont even be able to use the excuse that it will be too cold for her. Today is absolutely gorgeous. Not a single cloud in the sky and the temp is 88 with NO humidity.

That is really nice that the church is going to help out with meals. That was a great idea for Rach to call them.

Home and checking for updates. I'm off tomorrow on a vacation day so I'll be checking in when I'm not outside gardening.
Have you heard the results of the CT scan yet?

I was just checking to see if the girls got there safely. I didn't want to call 'cause I figure everyone is still sleeping.

Just reading the news of your Mother's accident. (computer troubles this wk). I'm adding my prayers to everyone's for the best possible outcome for your Mother. You and the girls take care of yourselves as you see about your Mom. Will ck back frequently.

Just checking to see if there is any new news. The girls should be there by now. The hotel was going to let them check in at 5am, they were planning on crashing in the lobby till 5am if they got there early. I can only imagine Nat and Francie trying to convince them to let them in earlier by dramatically sprawling out all over the lobby.

Been checking your blog and Rachel's for updates. I'm sure the girls are sleeping at the hotel. Hope your mother has improved since last night.
