Looking pretty bare - Bob took the tree out the front doors and now it is resting in the burn pile. It's too windy to burn today. The boxes are all stored and life is back to normal. I think.

I cant believe you still have your tree up, or did until today! Its almost february! Let me guess, you put it up the day after thanksgiving? I guess I cant make fun of you when mine has been sitting on my front porch for 3 weeks. You can take the girl out of the redneck but you cant take the redneck out of the girl../ thanks a lot mom.
The tree just has such a nice ambiance with all the decorations and the lights. It fills our minds with happy memories and nostalgia with a little romance thrown in. It is a kind of melancholy day, each year, when we have to take it down, isn't it?
You could have left it up and had a Valentine's tree. I always hated taking it down when I used to have one.
